Alan | From a Troubled Heart to the Light of Islam

Alan’s connection with Islam began in childhood, when he met Muslim immigrants in his city and admired their kindness, love, and respect. His interest grew after watching The Message, the film about Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and later he discovered Salam Center through Facebook, where its content and dialogue deeply affected him and encouraged him to learn more about Islam.

Alan is a Brazilian man who once carried misconceptions about Islam and Arabs, but his journey with Salam Center helped him break free from those ideas and discover Islam as a religion of love, understanding, and purity of heart. After embracing Islam, he felt his relationship with his family and community improve, and he began using his university environment to speak about Islam and plant seeds of guidance in the hearts of others.
